I’m a results-driven Frontend & WordPress Developer with over 6 years of hands-on experience in crafting user-focused websites and web applications. My career journey has taken me from frontend development to WordPress expertise, and most recently into team leadership, giving me the ability to see projects from both technical and strategic perspectives.
I’ve worked with startups, agencies, and enterprise-level clients, including government-backed initiatives and international brands. Lead developer for a semi-government tech provider in Mauritius. Built a custom WordPress site with Elementor + ACF, optimized performance/security, and guided a junior dev team.

1. UI & Frontend Development
Over 6 years of experience building pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I have worked with modern frameworks like Vue, React, and Angular in collaborative environments, while not branding myself a “JS framework expert,” I’m confident in delivering production-ready solutions and continue to upskill with industry best practices.
2. WordPress Development
Nearly 6 years of professional WordPress experience, developing websites for agencies and clients worldwide (Azetech, Dygitale, GCCO, and more). Skilled in building websites with and without themes, using page builders, ensuring monthly maintenance, optimization, and security. While I haven’t specialized in custom plugin/theme development, I bring strong hands-on experience in real-world project delivery.
3. Performance, Security & SEO
Certified in SEO (2019), I focus on clean, optimized code and apply performance best practices across all builds. I’ve implemented WordPress security solutions with Cloudflare and Wordfence, achieving reliable protection against threats. My background in SEO also ensures websites are not just functional, but rankable and discoverable.
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration
As a Development Team Lead in my most recent role, I guided teammates through upskilling, code reviews, project planning, and delivery. I’m comfortable managing cross-functional teams, coordinating workflows, and ensuring that projects meet both business goals and technical standards.
As a UI/UX designer and later a product designer, I collaborated with Malik on various web and landing page projects. His technical expertise ensured my designs were implemented flawlessly. Malik excels at translating intricate design concepts into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
